But it was 1983 and the surge in interest rates coming so soon after the purchase of the new location seemed insurmountable. Or was it. Uncle Tony joined the team and together they managed to continue to provide the same high-quality food and service.
It's 2003, Matija and Luka have since retired and the restaurant is now run by Anna and Uncle Tony. Some new staff has come and some old favourites have gone and there's a never-ending array of new challenges. Longtime guests have become accustomed to that special touch. Second and third generation guests are requesting new and lighter food preparations. Even taste in decor is changing. But we promise you that one thing will never change — our aim was, is and always will be — to treat you and every one of our guests as guests in our own home.
